Common questions
How long does stump grinding take?
Most residential stump grinding jobs take between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the size and number of stumps. We will give you a realistic time estimate when we come out for your free on-site quote.
Will the stump grow back after grinding?
No. Once a stump is ground down below the surface the tree cannot regrow. The remaining wood chips and sawdust will naturally decompose over time and you can reseed the area with grass.
Do you clean up after the job?
Yes — always. Full cleanup is included with every job. We remove all debris, wood chips, and mess before we leave your property.
How much does stump grinding cost?
Pricing depends on the size and number of stumps. We offer the most competitive rates in Metro Detroit and provide free on-site estimates so you know exactly what you are paying before we start.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. uStumped is fully licensed and insured. Your property is protected every step of the way.
